Our Media Transfer Company

My name is Stephen Meeds and I first began editing VHS tapes over 25 years ago when I realised that I had accumulated a sizeable collection of family videos. However I noticed that the quality of these tapes was deteriorating and realised that I had to transfer this media as soon as possible if it was to retain its quality.

I purchased equipment and software and learned to edit all of my home movies so that they could be watched and enjoyed forever. At this time it was just a hobby, but I soon began transferring media for other people, well aware that if my tapes were deteriorating, other people's tapes would be too.

I am extremely passionate about preserving these precious memories, which should not be allowed to fade away. Whether your media shows birthday celebrations or family holidays, they represent moments in time that you and your family can enjoy again and pass onto future generations.

DVD Creation was born in May 2011 and since then has had a regular flow of work which has enabled me to grow the business and purchase more professional equipment to expand the services I offer. From audio tape to CD, reel to reel tape and vinyl, VHS to digital media, camcorder cassettes and Cine film to DVD conversions, DVD Creation offer a range of transfer services to help you preserve your treasured memories in the highest quality.

Our Media Transfer Approach

Based in Boston, Lincolnshire, DVD Creation is a small family run business dedicated to preserving your treasured memories. We have been trading for many years and have, in our time, handled many many miles of film and video. We offer a fast, friendly, professional service for your VHS to digital media conversion and can generally transfer your memories within a week.

We believe in good old-fashioned customer care and treat every customer the way we wish to be treated. We are passionate about our work and would describe ourselves as perfectionists. We offer a professional but personal service and will keep you informed of the progress of your transfer from receipt to despatch.

We care immensely about your precious recordings and take every measure to ensure we recreate the finished movies in the best possible way we can. Your memories are our priority and we handle them with the greatest respect.

We don't simply move data from one format to another. We inspect and scan each tape and make edits if necessary. Blank footage will be cut and we will edit everything into a seamless video that can be enjoyed from start to finish.

With all transfers we will make sure the footage has been captured properly and at its best. We will recapture it again if we consider a better reproduction can be achieved.
